New series on Netflix: Medal of Honor

The eight-part anthology series "Medal of Honor: Honor to Whom Honor is Due" comes from Oscar-winning executive producer Robert Zemeckis ("The Last Days") and Oscar-winning director James Moll ("Forrest Gump") and is a hybrid documentary combined with real film footage. It tells stories of great individuals who were awarded the highest military honor of the USA, the Medal of Honor.

The stories of the following individuals are told:

  • Sylvester Antolak (World War II)
  • Vito Bertoldo (World War II)
  • Edward Carter (World War II)
  • Ty M. Carter (Afghanistan)
  • Richard L. Etchberger (Vietnam)
  • Hiroshi "Hershey" Miyamura (Korean War)
  • Clint Romesha (Afghanistan)
  • Joseph Vittori (Korean War)
