New look for the Bundeswehr: ELCAN Specter DR

Leonardo has concluded a framework agreement with the Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and Use of the Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) through its subsidiary, Leonardo Germany GmbH, which secures the delivery of up to 107,929 daylight optics for current and new assault rifles of the Bundeswehr. The ELCAN Specter DR will have two changes compared to the regular models, which are also used by the US Army: The selector switch for the 1-4x magnification can be mounted on the right and left on the German model.
