New ammunition for Carl Gustav
SAAB secures orders from Swedish Defense Materiel Administration for latest HE ammunition and fire control device for Carl-Gustaf® multipurpose weapon system. Contract worth 365 million SEK with deliveries in 2022-2023, ensuring higher first hit rate.
SAAB has received orders from the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) for the delivery of the latest HE ammunition and the also new fire control device for the recoilless Carl-Gustaf® multipurpose weapon system. This guarantees a higher first hit rate: the new ammunition is programmable and communicates with the acquired Fire Control Device. The contract value amounts to approximately 300 million SEK and 65 million SEK, and deliveries will take place in the years 2022-2023.
