Ballistic shields and rain gear for the Bundeswehr

The Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and Utilization of the Bundeswehr has commissioned HEXONIA to supply ballistic protection shields with accessories. The framework contract, valid until the end of 2031, includes approximately 100 medium-sized and small shields each. HEXONIA is firmly commissioned with three-quarters of the quantity upon signing of the contract.

In addition, HEXONIA will provide the new underlay moisture protection of the combat clothing set Armed Forces (KBS SK) for the Bundeswehr in the future. BW Bekleidungsmanagement GmbH awarded the contract for one lot and commissioned HEXONIA to manufacture approximately 16,700 moisture protection trousers and 16,700 moisture protection jackets, which are to be delivered throughout 2026. Unlike before, the new underlay moisture protection will not be black but khaki (RAL 7008) in combination with black. Hexonia has been supplying the underlay moisture protection to the Bundeswehr as part of the KBS SK since 2020.
