Size does matter: the SNIPEX Alligator is a Ukrainian-made sniper weapon that operates with the special caliber 14.5×114 mm. Quite large compared to an AK74 cartridge. And the weapon itself: weight 25 kg, initial bullet velocity 980 m/s, penetration 10 mm at a distance of 1.5 km, with a maximum range of 7 km.
