Monsoor beim Training in Alaska

This abstract discusses a picture of Michael Monsoor during his SEAL Qualification Training, wearing a PCU and carrying a RAM training weapon. He is also seen wearing the Bergans Alpinist Escape backpack exclusively used by NSW teams. Monsoor sacrificed his life in 2006 by throwing himself on a hand grenade to save his comrades and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.

Michael Monsoor here in a picture, which probably comes from the time of his SEAL Qualification Training, here at the survival package held in Alaska. Monsoor is wearing a PCU, the M4 in front of his chest appears to be a RAM training weapon. Above all, Monsoor is wearing the Bergans Alpinist Escape, the huge backpack used exclusively by NSW teams in the color Arctic Grey. Michael Monsoor fell in Iraq in 2006 and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his personal sacrifice — he threw himself on a hand grenade to save his comrades.
