Modding ... DEVGRU Style

The Naval Special Warfare Development Group is acquiring a CNC milling machine for customized modifications, with training included. Speculation is that it may be used for vehicles and aircraft rather than individual gear.

It is well known that SF soldiers like to customize and adapt their gear. With the tender for their own CNC milling machine (pictured here as an example), the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) seems to be taking these customizations to unprecedented heights. It also includes five days of training for correct operation. It is not known what modifications this tool will be used for; speculation suggests it will have more to do with vehicles and aircraft than with gear worn by the individual.
