MH-Stealth by EXTREMA RATIO

The tactical folding knife MH-STEALTH from EXTREMA RATIO is the result of a collaboration with the Special Forces Command (KSK) and the Community of German Commandos. Its unveiling took place at IWA 2025. The idea for the project arose from a handcrafted drawing for a compact, efficient knife for real-world use, which was well-received by EXTREMA RATIO. The abbreviation "MH" honors the experts who managed this project. The term “Stealth” refers to the camouflage capabilities and the extremely compact design of the knife.

The total length of the MH-STEALTH is 140 mm with the blade folded and 255 mm with the blade extended. The knife weighs 106 grams.

The 86 mm long and 3.6 mm thick blade is made of Böhler N690 steel (58 HRC) with a blued surface and engraved KSK logo. The blade finish of the flat-ground blade complies with MIL-C-13924 Burning. Additionally, it features a serrated edge at the base, which increases effectiveness for quick and precise cuts in high-strength materials such as ropes or reinforced fabrics. 

The slender handle is made from a material referred to by EXTREMA RATIO as “Anticorodal,” an alloy of aluminum, magnesium, copper, and manganese, and is anodized. A tactical mud color was chosen. The cutouts in the handle scales reduce the weight of the MH-Stealth and ensure a secure grip, even with mud, sweat, moisture, or blood on the handle.

The blade locking mechanism of the MH-STEALTH employs the proven liner-lock system, which facilitates particularly easy handling.

The MH-STEALTH is also equipped with a hard metal glass breaker integrated into the ring.

A seatbelt cutter is integrated into the handle of the MH-STEALTH.

The secure carrying of the MH-STEALTH in an open state is made possible by the rigid ASPIS sheath, which is included with the knife and has already been used with models such as Misericordia, Mamba, and Requiem, ensuring it is ready for immediate use. This was also developed by EXTREMA RATIO and allows for quick draws and easy storage of the blade. 

The two adjustable loops allow for a secure and individually adjustable attachment. The sheath is MOLLE/PALS compatible.

The knife clicks securely into the sheath and is stored safely within it. The necessary cutout on the knife is present.

The securing of the MH-STEALTH in the sheath is released with light pressure.

The knife can also be drawn from the sheath while attached to a plate carrier by pressing with the palm. Push against, grab the MH-STEALTH, and pull out. It's all a matter of practice.

The idea behind the slim, compact, and foldable form of the MH-STEALTH is that the knife can be carried not only in a pocket but also in the MOLLE/PALS loops.

 Due to its foldable and compact size, the MH-STEALTH fits into various pockets, for example, of multitools or pistol magazines. The plastic insert in the Pistolerance Gen. 4 from TIGER TAILOR ensures that the MH-Stealth stays securely in the pocket.

The rear ring integrated into the handle and the compact blade ensure usability, control, and speed during use.

The MH-STEALTH can also be discreetly closed and carried in your pocket, in the admin pouch, or in the magazine pouch. To make it ready for use, it can be opened and closed with one hand.
