MFMD - The Alien Suppressor

It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, but it's reality and it works. This is the MFMD (Multi Function Muzzle Device) from STRATEGIC SCIENCES. It's a flash hider, silencer, and compensator in one, yes, all three functions. We found a video from Shark Coast Tactical that tests the whole thing and it is impressive.

The MFMD has been around for a while, but until now only with military special forces in the USA. At this year's Shot Show, they made their entire line up accessible for the civilian market.

The MFMD is 3D printed, but compared to other printed silencers, they have utilized all design possibilities. This is because geometries can be printed that cannot be produced using milling, drilling, or casting. No more classic baffles and a very impressive sound reduction at a short length.

The MFMD is already a silencer, but for those who want it even quieter, an additional part can be clipped on, the SD or SDX. Even with the longer SDX combined with the MFMD, the whole thing is still shorter than classic silencers. 

The MFMD is already available for various calibers. We are excited to see when the first models will make it across the pond. The MFMD concept could become the future of the silencer.
