Exhibition: This was SOFIC 18

From May 21 to 24, the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) took place in Tampa, Florida. One of the most important exhibitions and meeting points for the industry and the SOF community to showcase products and communicate and interact with each other. Unfortunately, we were not there ourselves, but our friends from Soldier Systems Daily have extensively reported on it. Here are a few highlights we'd like to share with you.

Crye Precision - Hot Weather Uniform

Trident K9 Tactical HelmetEven four-legged friends need protection. Trident K9 has developed a special helmet for this purpose. Modular, with various attachments, the helmet protects the dog's skull and can also mount a lamp or MOHOC camera on the head. Rajuga Camouflage System by TYR TacticalTyr Tactical has partnered with Polaris Solutions from Israel to introduce their Rajuga Camouflage System. It is a 3D multispectral camouflage net. In the image above, for example, a Polaris Quad vehicle is hidden underneath. It camouflages in the IR spectrum and also provides protection against sun, wind, and rain. DS Raider by MistralLooks like a scooter, but has power! Weighing 70 kilograms, this four-wheeled vehicle can carry two people or 210 kilograms. An optional trailer can also accommodate an additional 450 kilograms. The electric motor can take you up to 70 kilometers per hour for a distance of 70 kilometers. Not bad at all, we think. Arnold Defense FLETCHER mounted on a Polaris DAGORFLETCHER offers the opportunity to significantly increase the firepower on the Polaris vehicle. Petzl Helo Adjust

Petzl was also present. They introduced a new Helo Adjuster. The length can be adjusted variably and quickly. Safe and quick clipping in and out is also possible. Available starting in July - Details HERE.

Guardian Cover for the HEL-STAR 6Whether helmet cover, MOLLE, or patch version, the cover can be mounted almost anywhere and provides protection for the HEL-STAR 6. Details HERE.

Scalable Offensive Hand Grenade by NammoLastly, something extraordinary. This hand grenade can be varied in explosive power as needed. If you want more boom, simply screw them together to enhance the explosive power. According to the manufacturer, you can link a maximum of three together. Will everyone abide by this rule?
