Austrian political visit to the Ulbrichts Protection booth by Karl Nehammer, the Minister of the Interior of the Republic. During his visit to the 24th European Police Congress, the discussion included the now possible upgrade to long gun protection for Austrian helmets, the FORTIS visor. For patrol forces who face danger head-on as the first responders on the scene, the FORTIS upgrade - an add-on shielding for the operational helmet - is capable of withstanding a shot from a Kalashnikov 7.62×39 steel core bullet.
