The HRTV from Safran Optics 1 can do more and is often cheaper than the competition.
The three modes above are available for selection - Color Day, Cooled Thermal, Low-Light Level. In addition, the device offers the option to display the sensors in a split screen or even based on Fusion (image overlay). Additionally, the HRTV is equipped with a laser rangefinder, digital magnetic compass, inclinometer, see-spot-detection, wireless remote observation, photo/video recording, shot drop calculator, and display of movement speed.
If you want to take a closer look, there is also a 2.5x AFOCAL lens extension available for HRTV, which can also be coupled with remote-controlled tripods. Wireless image transmission via IP from an EUD/tablet is also possible.
HRTV is already being used in limited quantities by some armies, such as the US Army, Marine Corps, Navy, as well as other international armed forces. More information about HRTV can be found on their website at Safran Optics 1.
