More shade: The new UF PRO Striker Gen. 2 Boonie is here

Whether in action or under the bright sun, it is crucial to protect your eyes and face. Boonie hats, also known as brimmed hats, have become an essential piece of clothing for special forces, infantry, commando units, and military and tactical enthusiasts.

UF PRO®, developer and manufacturer of high-quality tactical apparel for police and military special forces worldwide, is kicking off summer 2018 with the brand new Striker Gen.2 Boonie Hat, which provides sun protection, allows air circulation, and helps the wearer blend in with their surroundings with camouflage patterns.

The new Striker Gen.2 Boonie Hat can be folded very small if needed (e.g., to be stored in a pocket) and provides excellent 360-degree sun protection. Made of a lightweight but durable 35% polyester, 65% cotton ripstop fabric in Flecktarn; 50% nylon, 50% cotton ripstop in PenCott™ GreenZone and MultiCam®; and 67% polyester, 33% cotton ripstop in Greybrown, SloCam, it features a mesh textile sweatband to generate maximum air circulation, allowing the wearer to keep a cool head.
