DAIMLER TRUCK is pursuing a clear growth strategy in the development, production, and distribution of military commercial vehicles for logistical applications. By introducing new vehicle variants and further qualifying the existing sales and service network, DAIMLER TRUCK aims to respond even faster and with a wider range of offerings to customer requirements in the defense sector.
From the highly off-road-capable Unimog and Zetros, in the image the Zetros 3351 AS 6x6, to the truck series Atego, Actros, and Arocs, up to heavy-duty tractors – Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks offers a wide range of complete vehicles in different variants from Euro III to Euro VI and can also implement special equipment upon request. Recently, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks has invested in the further development of the Zetros series and can now offer all versions from the two-axle 4x4 to the four-axle 8x8, with or without a protected driver's cab, with single or twin tires in various emission standards.
At IDEX, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks presents the Zetros 2036 A 4x4 with Euro III engine and 265 kW (360 hp). The permissible total weight of the two-axle vehicle is 16.5 tons. The cab with a center seat offers space for three people and has additional storage space with attachment points in the cabin, making it easy to carry extensive equipment. The Zetros is built with a low-torsion flatbed body as a material and troop transporter.
The Mercedes-Benz Arocs 4042 AS 6x6 is suitable as a heavy-duty tractor with twin tires and double winch for heavy-duty off-road transports, for example as a tank tractor. With the double winch, damaged vehicles can also be recovered and loaded onto the low loader.
