Matt Mills, DEVGRU, Gold Team

The abstract discusses the story of Matt Mills, a commander of the US Navy Seals Team 6 who was shot down over Afghanistan in 2011. The image provided is the first known picture showing the use of Magpul E-Mags with a HK416 by DEVGRU in an armory setting.

His name was Matt Mills. He was likely the commander of the Gold Team of United States Navy Seals Team 6, also known as DEVGRU. Mills was from Texas (as seen on the flag on his helmet) and was shot down over Afghanistan on August 5th by helicopter. He was a Navy SEAL for 15 years. The image above shows him in an armory in the operational area: interestingly, it is the first picture we know of that shows the use of Magpul E-Mags with a HK416 by DEVGRU.
