MATBOCK introduces a new approach to helmet camouflage with "Skins," offering sticker options for various helmet models. Made of waterproof Ghost Lite material, Skins are easy to apply and remove, meeting IR camouflage requirements. Custom options are available, along with patches for other equipment. Visit MATBOCK's website for more information.
Helmets protect the head, but due to their round shape, they are also easy to recognize in botany. Therefore, helmet camouflage is a significant topic: it should dissolve the contour and make it less noticeable. Two standard solutions so far have been either fabric helmet covers or applying a pattern with Hydrodip. MATBOCK is taking a different approach in the new year: with "Skins," the helmet can be stickered.
Skins are currently available for Team Wendy Exfil Ballistic, LTP, and Carbon Bump Helmets (Size 1 and 2), as well as for the 3M Peltor COMTAC III Headset. MATBOCK uses a multi-layered laminate called Ghost Lite, which is waterproof, oil-resistant, and reusable. The coated adhesive stays on the laminate when removing the skins from the helmet.
In the photos here, you can see how the precut Skins made of Ghost Lite material are structured. By the end of February, Skins will be available in all four sizes for Ops Core SENTRY Low Cut, FAST High Cut, FAST Super High Cut, ACH Low Cut, ECH Low Cut, and Carbon Super High. Of course, the material also meets all requirements for IR camouflage.
Here are the Peltor Comtacs III with precut Skins as well. Upon request, Skins can be custom made for different units. There will also be adhesive patches in the size of 50 cm by 50 cm, suitable for disguising ATVs, motorcycles, or similar useful equipment. HERE is the link to MATBOCK's Skins.
