After the Marines have long enjoyed a long HK416 as M27 IAR declared as a light machine gun, they are now where they want to be: Marines of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit here with their new HK416 variants. 11.5" barrel, EOTech EXPS3, and "old school" PEQ-16 (integrated white light). Not everything is new: The short goal was now achieved with a new 11.5" barrel upper receiver.
