Maos Theory of Guerrilla Warfare

10/10/2024

Power comes from the barrels of guns.Mao's Small War Theory and the Chinese resistance against the Japanese invasion.

Goliath is not always the more powerful. David can also harass him with many stabs. When a country is occupied, resistance must be organized. The attacking Japanese invaders were perceived by all Chinese as an existential threat.

"On Guerrilla Warfare" is Mao Tse Tung's plea for the use of irregular warfare.

Mao wrote this book in 1937 to convince everyone in China that the Chinese must use guerrilla tactics in the war against the Japanese. And he explains how they should be used: Small groups of fighters should be organized and combat a larger, hostile army with ambushes and raids. The Communist leader and later Chinese head of state, Mao Tse Tung, thus delivers a classic of guerrilla theory, which we document with this SPARTANAT Red Book.

"On Guerrilla Warfare" by Mao Tse Tung, SPARTANAT Red Book 6, pocket-sized paperback, 124 pages, Euro 15.90
