M.U.C. Chino pants by LMS GEAR

After a long development phase in which the design was revised and tested multiple times, the M.U.C., Multi Utility Chino from LMSGEAR has been available since July of this year.  At the ENFORCE TAC 2025 in Nuremberg, we already had the opportunity to get a first impression of the raw design. Like its predecessor models, the M.U.D. Jeans, the Chino was also designed to be suitable for a variety of applications without being conspicuous. After a short but intensive wearing period, we now present our impressions of the pants.

The pants are made from a high-quality performance cotton mix with 98% cotton, 21.5% recycled cotton fabric, and 2% elastane. The color Flat Dark Earth resembles "Magpul FDE," which is not only functional but also ideal for various environments. Additionally, the material has been treated with DWR (durable water repellent). 

The design of the M.U.C features a well-fitting "Straight Leg" cut. It is neither too loose nor too tight. This ensures sufficient freedom of movement, and it is also possible to wear long underwear underneath on cold days.

A built-in gusset in the crotch not only ensures an optimal fit but also increases comfort in mobility. Triple-stitched seams with the use of Kevlar thread and additional reinforcement provide durability and a long lifespan.

The M.U.C features a button with logo design, similar to the M.U.D. Jeans. 

Unlike last time, there is no button placket with four embossed buttons in logo design, as seen on the M.U.D. Jeans. Instead, a high-quality zipper in pants color from YKK was used, which matches the rest of the pants.

Alongside the classic four-pocket silhouette, the M.U.C features four additional partially concealed insertion pockets. 

The two additional front pockets, integrated into the regular front pockets, provide ample storage for daily EDC madness. 

Whether for a flashlight, a folder, larger multitools, smartphones, or up to two pistol magazines or one long weapon magazine on each side. 

The regular front pockets in the form of French pockets allow for relaxed, easy, and convenient access. They are additionally reinforced at the insertion.

Additionally, generously sized insertion pockets are placed above the two rear back pockets, similar to those found on the M.U.D. Denim versions. Each pocket can accommodate a M.U.P. "Multi Utility Pouch" XL with a Medic Kit, an AR15 magazine, or an AK47 magazine without compromising carrying comfort. 

On the inside waistband, there is a hidden inner pocket on the right side at two o'clock. Large enough to hide a credit card.

The M.U.C. features seven belt loops for belts up to 50 mm wide, three in the back area. This ensures everything sits perfectly, even under heavy load.

On each side above the front pockets, there are eyelets for attaching lanyards.

The Black Lion Gear The Ankle is a professionally handcrafted ankle holster for concealed carry. 

It fits ideally with the M.U.C., Multi Utility Chino from LMSGEAR. The pant leg is also designed to be worn over boots.

CONCLUSION

In summary, it can be stated that the M.U.C., Multi Utility Chino from LMSGEAR is a well-thought-out and high-quality product. Hidden triple seams using Kevlar yarn with additional reinforcement provide durability and a long lifespan. The incorporated gusset significantly increases freedom of movement. The additional front pockets allow the user to transport their gear in stealth mode and protect it from curious eyes. The FDE color gives the M.U.C. a unique character and makes it suitable for everyday use.
