M-Lok ??? Keymod
Abstract: The NATO standard Picatinny rail is facing competition from two mounting systems in the weapon accessories market: Keymod and M-Lok. Midwest Industries has solved the compatibility issue by releasing adapters for M-Lok accessories on Keymod systems and vice versa.
Besides the NATO standard Picatinny rail, there are currently two mounting systems fighting for dominance in the weapon accessories market: Keymod (supported by Noveske, Hera Arms, BCM, ...) and M-Lok (supported by Magpul). If you have chosen a handguard in one of these systems, but then wanted an accessory that was only available for the other system, you were out of luck. Midwest Industries has addressed this problem by releasing an adapter series for M-Lok accessories on Keymod systems and vice versa.
