The text describes the intense challenges faced in the Lynx Brutality 2024 competition, including shooting targets with rifles and pistols in various scenarios. The competition was live-streamed and featured well-known participants. The winners were announced and prizes were distributed in a raffle. The text concludes with recommendations for participating in the dynamic and action-packed competition.
The secret stage at the end of the first day is not to drink too much alcohol in company. Because now on the second day, you need your strength again and hopefully you have slept well and don't have a snoring roommate.

The entire competition was accompanied by a professional livestream. Aryan Alipour was the main commentator and was visited by various prominent participants. These were conveniently placed in squads.

Among them were Ziga from Polenar Tactical, Ian McCollum (Forgotten Weapons), Print Shoot Repeat, Mike & Chap from Bloke on the Range, Jari (Varusteleka), Fabio Schäfer, RafTheBald (Novritsch), Jordan Flayer (lvl100caterpie) and Calvin (Firepowerunited). A little later in the sponsored squad were AMY9x19 (Eichenwerk), Stefan (Sapiens Para Bellum) and Martin (Impact Austria). In addition, there were several other familiar faces throughout the competition.

This stage was to start our day. On the signal, it was to go in and first shoot to the right with the rifle.

But that's easier said than done. In the darkened tunnels, additional dry ice fog was blown in. Also, as shown in the picture, there were different obstacles inside. After taking five shots with the rifle at the IPSC Micro target, it was time to exit on the other side.

Also visible here are chains that were partially hanging loose inside, partially fixed. Once outside, you had to shoot five shots with a pistol at a steel target, about 20 meters away. Then back and forth and it was done. Those wearing plate carriers or having more weight on their hips usually had a hard time here.
There was also an Easter Egg photo placed in the tunnel - for personal amusement. But apparently none of the participants saw it, nor did we. A true tunnel vision for everyone who had to go through.

This was again a pure pistol stage. On the timer signal, two steel gongs had to be shot, each two times, alternately. If you hit the wall, there was a DQ. If you only hit the white discs, there was a penalty. At the beginning, you had to do it with both hands. Then pick up the familiar ammunition box, carry it around the place once, and shoot again with both hands.

During the second round with the crate, the shooter had to make a stop and climb up a rope. The nylon rope is a bit slipperier than the hemp ropes that hang in sports halls. Those who didn't have the correct leg technique either failed or used a lot of arm strength. The crate then had to be carried back to the table and then shooting was done only with the strong shooting hand.

Lastly, participants had to complete one more round and climb the steel ladder. Upon reaching the top, they had to shoot four targets with the weak shooting hand.

This stage was something very special. Participants start on the ladder and have to stick the rifle through the opening at the top and shoot five steel targets. Then, remove the magazine and take a bonus shot to unload the rifle. Hang the weapon on the rope at the top afterward.

Next, the candidate had to move along the rope to a platform. Upon reaching the top, shoot the five targets again and then unload the rifle with the bonus shot.

If there was still time, it was a rush to get back to the starting position quickly. Hanging there, the shooter was turned in the correct direction by the Range Officers and only then could they load their pistol. While hanging from the rope, they then had to hit five small steel targets. Only then was it over and the firearm was unloaded. Caution - suppressors are hot! A cover not only protects oneself but also the Range Officers. Unfortunately, there were some burns here and there. Some participants were disqualified because they brushed their legs while shooting with the pistol.

Equally spectacular was the Car Park station. Three cars were placed, and the shooter started from the driver's seat. Shoot a steel target with the pistol through the windshield, then hit another target from the passenger window. The pistol is then left in the car, and the participant moves quickly to the trunk. There, they take out the rifle, load it, and shoot more steel targets.

This is done from the first car and then moves on to the red car. Upon arrival, shoot the targets again and then unload the magazine with a bonus shot.

What followed was always extremely entertaining. Through the driver's window, you had to climb through and into a car parked next to it. Then onto the back seat. Often the horn was honked several times, or participants got their equipment stuck on the window. Sometimes equipment was even lost. However, anyone who loses a magazine with ammunition during the competition incurs a penalty time.

The window on the back seat was covered, except for a small opening. Out of there, shots had to be fired again at steel targets, then it was done.

Ever shot a rifle with one hand? This stage required holding the rifle with only one hand. In the other hand, you had to hold a ballistic shield. The rifle could be laid down on it, but the shield could not touch the ground. Additionally, three magazines with 5 shots each had to be fired. Reloading was therefore not so easy.

Once this was done, the shooter had to run to the tower and pull up a 24-kilogram kettlebell and hook it onto the stone with a carabiner. Here, having a little more body weight helps.

Then choose a steel target and shoot down the plates from it. Once this is done, go out again, pull up the kettlebell, and go back in. If there was still time, you could shoot the last steel target.

And that's it for the competition, all stages are over. Now it's time for many to "recharge at the food truck" and engage in little games with the remaining strength. Here you can see Jari, who always likes to organize small push-up competitions with other participants.

In the evening, after all the participants were finished, there was the awards ceremony and raffle. We must not forget all the Range Officers who participated and ensured safety. They also always reminded and motivated the participants during their run!

We are especially pleased that this year, the gold is going back to Austria. Stefan from SAPIENS PARA BELLUM managed to be the first in the fiercely contested "Armored Division"! Congratulations - great performance! As the winner of the Armored Division, he is also invited by Jari to participate in Finnish Brutality. We are excited to see if he is up to this challenge.

Also winning gold was AMY9x19 from EICHENWERK! Congratulations to her as well! It was her first major international competition - and especially her first Brutality Match. Not an easy task, but she handled it with confidence! We hope she has now also gained an interest and desire for more such competitions.

An important point of the Brutality Matches - the raffle is independent of the placement. So those who had fun do not need to be upset about a poor placement. Because there were many great prizes in the raffle. Rifles from Schmeisser were awarded, an AUG and various pistols. Ammunition, clothing, tactical gear, and weapon accessories were also up for grabs, as well as vouchers for items like UF PRO clothing. There was enough for everyone, no one left empty-handed, so ultimately everyone is a winner.
We thank POLENAR TACTICAL for organizing this fantastic competition and we are pleased that it is becoming more popular, bigger, and more action-packed.
We recommend the competition to anyone who can handle firearms safely in a dynamic scenario. The most difficult part is getting a ticket. If you have the chance, take it, you won't regret it.
