Almost a year has passed since POLENAR TACTICAL invited us to the LYNX BRUTALITY for the first time. It falls under the category of 2 Gun Action Challenge Match, and offers quite a challenge. Last year, the event was announced at short notice, unlike this year. Tickets were sold out in a few minutes, as it was announced early enough. POLENAR also promised a massive increase in difficulty and entertainment.
BROWNELLS EUROPE has thankfully invited us, so we can report extensively again. Let's start with the preparations. Stefan and Martin, the dynamic Dream Team from Austria, were already introduced to us HERE.
But other familiar faces will also be seen at LYNX. Here you can see Jari's equipment from VARUSTELEKA. They organize the well-known FINNISH BRUTALITY.
Ian from FORGOTTEN WEAPONS is also back, as well as Bloke on the Range. Or the good Flo, alias SPÄTZLEOPERATOR.
Ziga has also come up with something special: He will participate in the match with a CZ 600 Alpha, a bolt-action rifle.
But what will the nearly 120 participants expect this coming weekend?
A total of 10 stages over two days, five per day. These are as follows:
1. Electric Boogaloo
Sponsored by Helikon Tex - An airplane mistakenly dropped equipment that landed with the enemy. The only way to acquire it is to crawl under a barbed wire fence, but be careful! It may be electrified.
2. Back Breaker
Sponsored by Schmeisser - Kettlebells in various sizes and weights. Use the correct technique, or you might end up with a broken back. Polenar has already shown that the weights may go up to 36kg!
3. Hand Burner
Sponsored by Brownells Europe - Ammunition boxes need to be brought to the platform! Once up there, there are two options. Either take the stairs, or fast-rope down. Good gloves will save your hands.
4. Vehicle Ambush
Sponsored by Opticstrade - On a supply run, the driver and you fall into an ambush. The driver dies on the spot. You must exit the vehicle for cover and eliminate the enemy!
5. Running Lights
Sponsored by Arex - Usually, you must avoid the light to not be seen by the guards. Here it's different. Run towards the light and when you get there, shoot! Simple as that.
6. Heavy Balance
Sponsored by Magpul - You jump out of the plane and land in a minefield. Your equipment is scattered everywhere. The only way to safety is via a rope stretched between two trees.
7. Carmagedon
Sponsored by Meprolight - On a patrol drive, an enemy tank is spotted! It stops, and with the help of a grenade launcher from the trunk, the tank must be fought. Make it count - only one shot!
8. Steel Overload
Sponsored by Sellier & Bellot - First, you must overcome the steel doors, then clear the room. You should have enough magazines and ammunition with you…
9. Demolition Man
Sponsored by CZ - Another ambush! But this time, you are prepared. Get the car to safety and then it's game on.
10. Flashbanger
Sponsored by Bul Armory - The name says it all. Throw a flashbang into the room and clear it. Just you, your pistol, and a grenade.
