The Luxembourg armed forces have started introducing new small arms. The principality had 5.56mm carbines and sub-carbines HK416A7, 7.62mm rifles HK417A2, and 40mm grenade launchers HK269. The cost of purchasing new weapons is €8.4 million / $37.4 million.
