Lorenzi Meet & Greet - Mark Carey, Spartan Blades

After the IWA 17, Mark Carey, one of the two creators of Spartan Blades, ended up in Vienna. The fact that the knife shop Lorenzi organized a small Meet & Greet was a good opportunity for friends, fans, and knife enthusiasts to gather at the store on Siebensterngasse and get to know Spartan Blades (half) personally.
A very personable Mark Carey casually recounted anecdotes from the company's history, presented his knives, and gladly gave autographs. He explained that they wanted to "make the knives that no one else makes" (see video above), said Carey, who founded Spartan Blades with Curtis Iovito. Overall, the stylish store was very crowded, with many visitors admiring the finest cutlery. Good conversations with Mark from Spartan Blades and Andreas Lorenzi, the organizer of the Meet & Greet. And small giveaways - patches, beads, t-shirts, and caps - delighted the visitors. An extremely good event to put a face to a great knife brand.
