Lithuania gets more G36
Lithuania orders additional G36 rifles from Heckler & Koch for 19 million euros to equip its army with modern and reliable armament. This decision comes amid the ongoing debate in Germany over the quality of the G36 rifle.
Other countries, other customs. Lithuania is stepping up and ordering additional G36 rifles from Heckler & Koch for 19 million euros. The G36 is already the standard weapon of the Lithuanian army. Lithuania justifies its decision by stating that it wants to provide its troops with "modern and reliable armament." HK will surely appreciate the compliment, especially after the German debate about the quality of the G36, which led to a new tender for the Bundeswehr assault rifle.
