LINDNERHOF TACTICS: Chest Rig MX266 and Magazine Pouches

Lindnerhof-Taktik has three new products available today: the Chest Rig 2-piece MX266, the Rifle Magazine Pouch 1-piece MX002, and the Rifle Magazine Panel 3-piece MX098.

The Chest Rig 2-piece MX266 is a lightweight two-piece harness system with its own padded harness. The Rifle Magazine Pouch 1-piece MX002 and the Rifle Magazine Panel 3-piece MX098 are slim, easily accessible magazine pouches for the Heckler & Koch G36 assault rifle, as well as most other calibers using 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition.

MX266 builds on the proven design elements of previous Lindnerhof Chest Rigs, but with several key improvements, according to the manufacturer. Firstly, the MX266 is made from Lindnerhof's innovative new Multiaxial laminate. This durable yet ultra-lightweight material reduces the weight of the rig and makes it easier to carry. Additionally, the fully MOLLE/PALS-compatible MX266 features a zipper in the center, allowing the user to keep equipment within reach at all times, even in a prone position. This eliminates the need to completely remove the rig to access stored ammunition, radio equipment, and other gear. Furthermore, the MX266 has its own padded, MOLLE-compatible harness system that is compatible with any other current Lindnerhof Chest Rig.

“I am a former sniper, and for me, the Chest Rig 2-piece MX266 is a well-thought-out addition to our existing Lindnerhof MX product range - one that fits perfectly into this era of super-rugged, ultra-lightweight plate carriers,” emphasizes Jakob Kolbeck, CEO of Lindnerhof-Taktik. “The MX266 is the latest innovation to emerge from the tireless efforts of our development department,” he continued. “It brilliantly solves the challenge faced by every sniper and riflemen in the field - the challenge of being able to quickly grab gear from the front of the rig when lying prone on the ground. Before Lindnerhof Chest Rigs, you had to completely take off the rig to fumble out what you needed. But with the MX266, you just have to open the zipper and you have direct side access.”

Kolbeck added that the MX266 is equipped with a clever quick-release buckle that allows the Chest Rig to be quickly closed at the end of the mission or at any time before that. “You don't even have to close the zipper, just secure the buckle and you're good to go.” The Lindnerhof CEO also points out that the Chest Rig 2-piece MX266 has Velcro® adjustment points that allow it to be attached to a plate carrier. “The plate carrier must have its own Velcro® strips to allow this. If not, we offer a separately available adaptation kit [RMPL144] to solve this problem.” Due to its compatibility with all Lindnerhof rigs, the MX266 is expected to quickly become a favorite among tactical users, Kolbeck predicted. “It is seen as a simple way to set up a super-personalized and modular micro-rig,” said Kohlbeck. “And the fact that it can be attached to our Panel Front Multicaliber 3-piece MX234 and Panel Front MX231 means users can kill two birds with one stone.”

The Rifle Magazine Pouch 1-piece MX002 and the Rifle Magazine Panel 3-piece MX098 are - like the Chest Rig 2-piece MX266 - made from the super-light MX Multiaxial laminate from Lindnerhof. They are nearly identical in design and features, except that the MX002 holds only one magazine, while the MX098 holds three and has a panel format (suitable for fully equipping the front of a plate carrier).

With both models, thanks to the clear, flat contours, the user can replace a magazine faster. This feature helps ensure that the user's handling is minimally impeded when reaching for a new magazine. Also, a specially developed tab (Alpha Tab 4.0) ensures quick and easy access to magazines. In addition, the MX002 and MX098 are mounted using standard MOLLE/PALS attachment and have additional laser cut slots on the front to attach more equipment. "It is essential that the bags you take on your mission facilitate access to magazines, regardless of whether you are operating under dark, cold, or wet conditions, or a combination of these three factors, but it is vital that you always have the best possible access to ammunition and the weapon system during deployment," Kolbeck said. "Our new MX Rifle Magazine Pouches meet these requirements in every respect. That's why I can confidently say that what we have developed is a true classic in the category of rifle magazine pouches."
