Leupold's new thermal optic - LTO-Quest

05/08/2017By Redaktion

Leupold adds a new device to their thermal optics range, the LTO-Quest. It is small, lightweight, compact, mobile, and fits in a small pocket. Designed for hunters, it allows for tracking fresh blood trails, harvested game, or simply to improve situational awareness. In addition to thermal imaging, it features a built-in flashlight and a camera capable of capturing up to 2,000 images.

Eight color filters on the device are selectable through a simple three-button interface. The built-in battery lasts up to five hours and can be charged via a Micro-USB connection. This connection can also be used to transfer the images to other devices. The built-in flashlight can be adjusted in brightness, offering up to 300 lumens of light output. The LCD display is 2.4" and operates at a 15hz refresh rate. The thermal image of the LTO-Quest also provides a 20° field of view and extends up to 275 meters. Priced at $649.
