When the public thinks of Afghanistan, it has news images and some political statements in mind. Afghanistan is far away. And that is what German soldiers stationed at the Hindu Kush mountain range experience. The military magazine KOMMANDO already dedicated an entire first, legendary Afghanistan issue to the mission of international forces in Afghanistan. Since that issue was some time ago, there is now a follow-up, a 64-page update that sheds light on the current developments and documents with images what is happening at the other end of the world.
