EOD officer Kaitlyn Hernandez set a bombastic world record by running a mile in 10 mins 23 secs in work clothes and a 45kg bomb suit. She trains at CrossFit SolaFide and participated in The CrossFit Games.
Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) officer Kaitlyn Hernandez (IG_ @katie.m.hernandez) holds a bombastic world record: she ran a whole mile in 10 minutes and 23 seconds - and all while wearing work clothes. For an EOD specialist, the clothing is heavier, the bomb suit weighs around 45 kilograms. Hernandez trains at CrossFit SolaFide in Clarksville, Tennessee, and also participated in The CrossFit Games Individual Quarterfinal last weekend. No wonder: Forging Elite Fitness.
