Small China Dragon

Drone defense is one of the big topics for the future. The Chinese are also working on this: HQ-17AE was presented during the FIA Zhuhai Airshow 2024. It is a UGV – a ground drone – an 8x8, designed for drone and swarm defense and fire support. It has everything you could need: jammers, surveillance and target tracking radar, EO+IR plus 24 MANPADS class missiles and 8x6 (48) VSHORAD missiles. Protection in the fight against a small enemy from above: better more than less.
