No more Colt AR15 for you
Colt, the iconic US manufacturer, announced the discontinuation of AR15 models for civilians due to market saturation. The decision seems to stem from low sales. The traditional manufacturer Colt from the USA has announced that they will no longer produce AR15 models for the civilian market. They justified this step by stating that there are more than enough manufacturers for the AR15 system in the civilian (US) market. Reading between the lines of their statement, found here on Soldier Systems Daily, it seems that their products simply were not being purchased in sufficient quantities. The Colt AR15 system will of course still be available to authorities.
