K5 - the new plate carrier from Agilite

The K5 Plate Carrier from Agilite is newly announced from Israel. The K5 is a SAPI/ESAPI plate carrier that aims to combine versatility in application with comfort.

The design is based on experience and suggestions from both Israeli and US Special Forces. The K5, Agilite assures, is constructed to be lightweight, ergonomic, and well-thought-out in every detail.

At the back, there is an integrated attachment system that accommodates all modules of the Agilite K Series™. This allows the K5 to be quickly adapted to different missions, including with the AMAP II Directly attaching Modular Assault pack and the soon-to-be-available AMAP 30L from Agilite.

For attaching the assault pack, there is an integrated MOLLE panel in laser-cut at the back. This, together with the side attachment option with straps and clips, ensures that nothing wiggles during movement.

The K5 plate carrier is easily recognizable by the "V" construction of the straps, which extend into the middle of the plate pockets. This is designed to help ensure better weight distribution without stress points at the edges.
