Someone is moving at a rapid pace: Poland's first 10 K2 Black Panther tanks were delivered today, on October 19, 2022, at the Hyundai Rotem plant in Changwon, South Korea. Poland intends to procure up to 980 K2 tanks and signed an initial contract for 180 tanks in August.

And because they were ready right away, Poland also received 24 K9A1 self-propelled howitzers to take home. Poland intends to bring production into the country together with its Korean partners and will therefore likely play a significant role in the European armament.
