Austria receives three Royal Jordanian Air Force Sikorsky UH-60L Black Hawks, part of a larger fleet of S-70A-42 Black Hawks undergoing upgrades by Ace Aeronautics for standardization. More details available on the Bundesheer website.
On May 17, the first two al-Quwwat al-Jawwiya al-Malakiya al-Urduniya (RJAF, Royal Jordanian Air Force) Sikorsky UH-60L Black Hawks were delivered to Austria via Larnaca. Austria is said to have purchased a total of three RJAF UH-60Ls.
So, these three are not new from the USA: they are part of the nine S-70A-42 Black Hawks of the medium Transport Helicopter Squadron (mTHSSta), which belongs to the Air Support Wing in Tulln-Langenlebarn (Austria). Once there, Ace Aeronautics from Guntersville (AL/USA) will give the helicopters the Ace Upgrade, which will bring them to the same standard as the rest of the Austrian Black Hawks. All information about the S-70 Blackhawk.
