No, EuroTrophy is not a competition to the Eurovision Song Contest. Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS), and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems (Rafael) founded EuroTrophy GmbH on March 28, 2022. The new company, based in Germany, will take over the marketing, sales, and production of the modern Active Protection System (APS) "Trophy" for armored wheeled and tracked vehicles. In November 2021, Trophy was successfully tested on a Leopard tank for the first time - HERE is the information on SPARTANAT.

The business activities of EuroTrophy will focus on NATO and EU customers. The company will also offer qualified services for vehicle integration and associated logistical support for the APS.

Technology transfer enables the production of APS Trophy in Germany. The supply security for APS Trophy in Europe will be improved through state-of-the-art technology, manufacturing, maintenance, and on-site service. Mark Stockfisch, Daniela Müller, and Dan Kalfus have been appointed as members of the management board to lead the newly established company.
