Hunt command exercise: Meeting of international special forces

09/02/2017By Redaktion

The small village of Schadendorf was the scene of an exercise involving special forces from the USA, Poland, Germany, and Austria. Together, they practiced the scenario of a hostage rescue as well as preventing a terrorist attack. The German participants were armed with HK416 rifles. Here we see the Austrian Jagdkommando with their current equipment. Multicam by Crye and Ops-Core helmets suit them well. It seems to be preferred over the Austrian pixel camouflage specifically designed for the Jagdkommando. At the back, you can see the AUG A3 Commando, which is used by the Austrian Special Forces. The Austrian Defense Minister Hans Peter Doskozil was also present to observe the exercise. Next to him is an ODA, Special Forces from America, as indicated by the flag patch. Once again, US Special Forces were involved. A Blackhawk helicopter was also used, including Fast Roping. Overall, it was quite a spectacle.
