The Jagdkommando is part of the documentary series "Toughest Forces on Earth". The series will debut on May 22, 2024 on Netflix.

Three international soldiers get insights into the tactics and armament of the Jagdkommando. Under the leadership of the special forces, they carry out actions in extreme conditions: from a terrorist attack in high alpine terrain, climbing a steep wall to a hostage situation in the nuclear power plant.

The Jagdkommando was the focus of the filming from April 17 to 25, 2023. It was filmed in Styria and Lower Austria. During this time, a soldier from the US Army, British Special Forces, and a US Navy Seal were put to the test. In freezing temperatures, a transmitter station on the Seetaleralpe had to be liberated from terrorists - including an overnight stay in the open and combat techniques in the alpine terrain. In addition, hostages had to be rescued from the Zwentendorf nuclear power plant under difficult conditions. The operation was carried out by water, land, and air. The air forces of the Bundesheer supported the maneuver.

The Jagdkommando is the special forces unit of the Bundesheer. It consists of specially trained and equipped soldiers. They operate under the most difficult terrain and weather conditions, as well as extreme danger situations. Their tasks include special reconnaissance, evacuation operations, as well as combat search and rescue. The Jagdkommando is characterized by above-average endurance, determination, and sense of duty.
