IWA 2019: Holosun GOLD reticle

GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! Where else can you find that – except at the IWA 2019. At least when it comes to the golden reticle of the new HOLOSUN optics. This also makes a lot of sense: We ourselves (Ed. Note: at least one of us) have a red-green color blindness and therefore sometimes have a problem quickly capturing the reticle in nature. The gold reticle was developed with the idea of finally providing a solution. It is the brightest possible color and is intended to offer a reticle that is quick to capture even for people without color vision deficiencies.

The gold color has been optimized after long development and many tests, and is now in series production at HOLOSUN. In the exhibition halls, it made a significantly positive difference for us, and even when looking towards the headlights, the viewer could still capture the reticle well.

The Gold Series from HOLOSUN is distributed in Germany by LASERLUCHS, but will only be available from 2020. Initially, only the most popular models will have an option for a gold reticle. Still, a great and very practical step, not only for people with red-green color blindness.

In addition, we inquired whether a blue reticle and/or a blue laser were planned or in development. However, this is not currently planned.
