IWA 2018: The new camouflage - CONCAMO from Germany

03/01/2018By Redaktion

Shortly before the IWA, we are excited to present to you the new camouflage pattern CONCAMO. It comes from Germany and was developed by Matthias Bürgin. And it will land as of now: Leo Köhler will produce clothing in this new camouflage print. Gear in CONCAMO will come from ZENTAURON. As you can see, you can barely see anything. But someone is hidden in the middle.

The story behind Confusion Camouflage (CONCAMO): The developer of CONCAMO has been designing camouflage patterns since he was 10 years old. The basic idea for CONCAMO originated in 1992 when Bürgin, at 17 years old, designed the first three-dimensional camouflage patterns. During his service in a military special unit, he was able to deepen his knowledge of camouflage patterns and their effects.

After his active service, Matthias Bürgin continued with his hobby and designed patterns for various purposes from urban to mountain patterns. He achieved a breakthrough after studying perceptual psychology. CONCAMO effectively confuses the subconscious with a special patented pattern arrangement.

Now is the time to release CONCAMO into the wild.
At the IWA 2018 trade fair, the CONCAMO green camouflage pattern will be presented at the Leo Köhler booth, and CONCAMO green will be available in stores starting in May 2018.

Here is a comparison with common patterns. We will definitely take a closer look at the camouflage pattern at the IWA 2018 in Nuremberg. More information and high-resolution images can be found HERE on the CONCAMO website.
