Oh, it's a CONCAMO. At the IWA 2019, this plate carrier was an eye-catcher, also because it was displayed in the new German camouflage pattern. But not only that: it is actually part of the Modular Belt System (MGS) from MD-TEXTIL - we watched it live during the presentation HERE. The Plate Carrier MGS will be available for authorities starting in June, later also for civilian buyers.

CONCAMO looks pretty good on CONCAMO. The MGS plate carrier is laser cut. And we'll say it right away: High-end laser cut. That makes it light: MGS basic weight is 470g. The system can be modularly expanded.

Top view of the shoulder straps. The shown CONCAMO uniform is the Striker Gen. 2 from UF PRO, which we introduced HERE.

We see a very light cumberbund made of CONCAMO laminate. In front of it are pockets for magazines, which have two additional options for securing the ammunition. Once with bungee cord, then also with a flap.

We will take a closer look at the MGS Plate Carrier soon, but there are already some very exciting solutions that we need to field test. Here is the flap with which the cumberbund is attached to the front plate pocket. Will that alone hold? We are curious.

Back view of the straps. Everything was a bit disheveled on the dummy because everyone wanted to fiddle around.

Backside MGS plate pocket: Laser cut from CONCAMO laminate. Almost built according to the purity law: MOLLE and nothing else.

And another digression into detail: The cumberbund is mounted with a bar. We haven't seen that before either.

At the md-textil booth, the MGS plate carrier was available in different colors and configurations. A range of bags to go with it can be seen on the back wall. Target price for the Plate Carrier: Euro 299,– (270,– for law enforcement).

The unique feature, as mentioned: the system was designed around climbing equipment. We showcased the climbing demonstration at Enforce Tac HERE.
