IWA 18 - night shooting with intent

Intentionally doing something can make sense. And if you plan to meet something at night, it requires intention: In the picture above, the world's smallest thermal scope is used as an attachment for one of the common military optics, the Elcan Specter DR. We have extensively introduced the TILO-3 to you HERE, and the Specter DR HERE. The new mounting adapter, which brings both worlds together, comes from Oberland Arms and allows the attachment of the also new TILO-3 thermal imaging device to the Elcan Specter 1/4x, turning the observation device Tilo into a thermal imaging attachment. Everything is clear for military and police use: According to the BKA, acquisition and possession of the individual components are legal for civilians as well. However, using it as a completely assembled night aiming device in Germany is only allowed for authorities or with BKA approval. Without BKA permission, using it for hunting abroad according to the regulations applicable there is also legal. Or to say it plainly: However, we would like to point out that the use (installation) of this accessory combination is not yet allowed in Germany. However, the possession of the parts is legal.
