IWA 17 - md-textil is branching off

MD-TEXTIL presents its achievements for the new year at IWA 17. All belts, collars, deployment lines, weapon slings, and battle belts are now available in three uniform colors: Black, Rock Gray Olive, and Coyote Brown. The Battlebelt from MD-TEXTIL 2.0 version now comes with a laser-cut laminate surface: the top is the classic solution, in the pictures of the man, there are two photos showing the new laser cut.

The most important innovation: an MD-TEXTIL rappelling harness. The rappelling harness is a fully modular system, the base of which is a belt. When the belt and battle belt are combined, we get a restraint belt according to EN358, the MD-TEXTIL PSL is also approved as a restraint means for the system according to EN358.
When the belt and leg loops are combined, we get a sport climbing harness according to EN12277. When the belt, leg loops, and chest harness are combined, we get a fall arrest harness according to EN361. The chest harness is needed when working with plate carriers and is already mandatory in most authorities. The special feature of the one from MD-TEXTIL is that the hip belt runs in the battle belt and there is a ChestRig module for the chest harness.
Therefore, the rappelling harness is integrated into the equipment and not an additional item. The development is a cooperation between MD-TEXTIL and Axel Manz from ECMS GmbH, which builds the Fastropesystem for the LUH helicopter. Everything is manufactured at MD-TEXTIL. The target group is intervention forces, i.e. all customer groups that need to be able to quickly put on and take off the system.
