Must you hide Tasmanian Tiger? No, but you can carry it concealed, see the cover image from the new collection for covert operations. Tasmanian Tiger, a premium German provider of professional military and police equipment, has reinvented itself and presented it at IWA 2017. New products are more modular and can be combined together as well as with existing items, resulting in equipment that is extremely custom-fit and tailored to specific operations. The new modular backpacks, in particular, cater to different scenarios of use.
Qualified input from military and police circles, numerous practical tests, and last but not least, cooperation with the sister brand Tatonka, the backpack specialist in the outdoor segment, lead to meticulously designed products that offer first-class workmanship and a balanced and fair price-performance ratio.
The new TT Modular Pack 30 is equipped with a modular interior that solves the principle of quick conversion through Velcro attachment: The inner back wall of the backpack is made of Velcro, to which pockets as well as holsters and weapon mounts with corresponding Velcro backs can be easily attached. At the same time, this back wall, thanks to punched slots, is also suitable for classic Molle solutions (MV = Molle Velcro*). The 30-liter mission backpack comes with three Velcro-attached pockets and a Velcro-attached weapon carrying system (for submachine guns and folding long guns). New products like the TT Modular Panel or the Velcro-attached TT Internal Holster for pistols offer individual extensions. The TT Modular Pack 30 also scores with a completely openable front, so it can also be used as a medic backpack when equipped with medic pouches or a complete medic panel.
To make the new modular solutions usable for existing items as well, the proven TT Mission Pack MK II for the 2017 season is also equipped with the variable MV back wall. The sturdy 37-liter combat backpack is presented in a modernized, slimmer form, with the front part flatter and smoother due to Molle cut in laser technology. The carrying system is also ergonomically optimized.
The plate carrier range from Tasmanian Tiger is supplemented by two models. The TT Plate Carrier LP is a flat under-carrying carrier for bodyguards and undercover ops. The lightweight skeleton carrier TT Plate Carrier SK (below) with quick-release system is designed as an over-carrying carrier. Equipped with MV front and back, it allows for labeling with Velcro-based magazine pouches (VL), but also additional equipment with classic Molle back. For the TT Plate Carrier MK III and the TT Plate Carrier LC, Tasmanian Tiger offers adaptable parts for use with SK 4 side panels (TT Plate Carrier Side Panel Set + TT Plate Carrier Side Plate Pouch).
Tasmanian Tiger's medic equipment has established a successful presence in the market - the German Bundeswehr has been equipped with the TT First Responder Move On since last year.
With the TT Medic Assault Pack MK II S, Tasmanian Tiger presents a small medic backpack that can be worn solo or specially designed for plate carriers using adapters (included). The new TT Medic Panel EL Set, consisting of two panels of different sizes, is designed as an additional panel for existing medic packs or for retrofitting, for example, the new TT Modular Packs and the new TT Tac Modular Packs.Together with the TT Medic Pouch Set (2 pouches of different sizes), a TT Mission Pack MK II can also be converted into a pure medic pack.
For individual stocking and attachment to the front of plate carriers, the IFAK Pouch S is designed.
The Tac series introduced in 2016 is expanded with the versatile TT Tac Modular Pack 30 Vent with a ventilated back system. Like this backpack, the MV back wall offers various modular stocking options. The 30-liter daypack comes with a separate bottom compartment, and the main compartment can be fully opened to remove the equipment. Additionally, the TT Tac Sling Pack 12 introduces a 12-liter single sling backpack that can be worn over the right or left shoulder and easily accessed by pulling the shoulder strap forward. The backpack offers a thoughtful interior layout including a Velcro partition for individual stocking, e.g., with the TT Internal Holster.
