On December 1st, Triple Action Professional Gear opened its showroom in Düsseldorf. We were there for the opening and interviewed the guys.

SPARTANAT: Hello Triple Action Gear, thank you for the invitation!

Triple Action Gear: Hello SPARTANAT, great that you could be here for the opening.

SPARTANAT: A small but nice store, but we didn't see any opening hours outside and the windows are opaque - one doesn't really know what you do.

Triple Action Gear: We don't see our store as a place for casual customers, but rather as a showroom for appointments. We offer telephone consultations on our products and can also open the store by appointment. Additionally, we will have regular open days on certain days and will post them on Facebook.

It's important to us that the people who shop with us also have the appropriate privacy and cannot be observed from outside - after all, there are also people here who are currently serving in the military and their identities need to be protected.

SPARTANAT: How did your project come about?

Triple Action Gear: We all come from a military background and met while in service. Out of this friendship, a business idea was born called Special Forces Support Command (SUKOM).

SUKOM emerged out of the need to provide adequate enemy simulation for the special forces of friendly nations participating in courses at the Mountain and Winter Warfare School in Mittenwald.

SPARTANAT: How long has Triple Action Gear been around?

Triple Action Gear: We founded Triple Action Gear in 2014, and the online shop has been around since 2015.

SPARTANAT: We mostly see UF-PRO here - how come?

Triple Action Gear: In the course of our activities, about 5 years ago we established contact with Armin Wagner of UF-PRO, who immediately recognized the signs of the times and equipped SUKOM with the complete Striker XT Gen1 Uniform in Pencott Greenzone. To professionally advise the market with UF-PRO clothing, Triple Action Gear was born around UF-PRO.

We know the products well and maintain a close relationship with the manufacturer. We are also involved in the development of some clothing items, so we are actively involved from the beginning. This helps us to advise customers optimally because we know the products. Furthermore, we wanted a European brand with good availability. If it says available in our shop, the items are there!

SPARTANAT: Do you carry the entire UF-PRO range?

Triple Action Gear: No, we only carry products that we fully believe in and are knowledgeable about. We would never sell equipment and clothing that we do not stand 100% behind.

SPARTANAT: Lastly, how does Triple Action Gear fit in with the name?

Triple Action Gear: Triple Action stands for 'on, to, over' - meaning roughly "to the enemy, on the enemy, over the enemy" (battle cry of the Army - Panzergrenadier troops).

SPARTANAT: What else do you have in your program?

Triple Action Gear: We carry gloves from Mechanix, Princeton Tec and Nitecore lights, SOG tools and knives, Pohlforce knives, as well as patches from Laser-Craft-Concepts and JacketsToGo.

SPARTANAT: Any other manufacturers in the plans?

Triple Action Gear: We will likely add TecDox products to the shop, as the police dog team is located around the corner.

SPARTANAT: Is there anything special about you that can't be found elsewhere?

Triple Action Gear: We have and will continue to release special series of UF-PRO products in colors that are only available from us.

SPARTANAT: What's your relationship with ELBEtac?

Triple Action Gear: We came together through the XCR rifle, which we really like. This has led to a loose cooperation: we support and recommend each other - we did a photo shoot with UFPro clothing and the XCRs for ELBEtac.

SPARTANAT: What else can we expect from you in the future?

Triple Action Gear: We plan to include items from MD-Textil - specifically the rappelling harness - there will of course be more exclusive UF-PRO special series and a collaboration with Black Lion Gear is planned - again, with special designs. We are also generally open to new products, but they are meticulously selected when we approve them. You won't find mass-produced items here.

SPARTANAT: Thank you for the conversation - keep up the good work and stay true to yourselves.
