From today until November 30, 2017, Rheinmetall is showcasing innovative solutions in the field of Simulation and Training at the I/ITSEC 2017 trade fair in Orlando, USA. The motto of the fair is "Harnessing new technologies to win in a complex world". Rheinmetall Electronics presents the latest training solutions for Army, Air Force, and Navy under the slogan "Train to perform".
For the first time, Rheinmetall is presenting its Command and Staff exercise system named "Osiris" to industry professionals and fair visitors. In the field of constructive simulation, Osiris is currently one of the leading software products. With Osiris, military commanders and staff practice on operational, tactical, and strategic levels in a realistic operational environment. The development of the situation on company, battalion, and brigade level and beyond is depicted. Osiris is therefore the first choice for customers who want to train leadership behavior and decision-making processes in a highly automated environment.
Rheinmetall showcases the development progress of the modular live training system Legatus. The further miniaturization of critical components and the reduction of setup times through optimized design and software updates are particularly noteworthy. Easier and quicker adjustment of weapons and fast, error-free installation of MOUT components in buildings allow customers to have more training in less time. In addition, the use of common standards contributes to improved compatibility with other manufacturers. This ensures that important requirements for Live simulation systems are even better fulfilled.
For over 40 years, Rheinmetall has been one of the leading developers and manufacturers of simulation technology. The spectrum ranges from computer-based learning to land, air, and sea vehicle simulators for crew training, to training centers for the tactical training of entire units with original equipment. Recently, Rheinmetall received an award in the "Top International" category at the "Industry Simulation and Training Awards 2017".
And what else? Visitors to I/ITSEC can also learn about customized and high-performance solutions such as simulation technology for the transport aircraft Embraer KC390, the cargo hold simulator Part Task Trainer (PTT) for the transport aircraft A400M, or modern submarine and naval simulation. Of course, Rheinmetall is also available for questions regarding all other activities in the field of simulation and training. Rheinmetall can be found at Booth 2213 at I/ITSEC 2017.
