The PFN385/640 is the smallest thermal imaging multifunction monocular based on the new 12µm sensor. The combination of a 50Hz frame rate and the latest 12µm sensor with a resolution of 640×512 or 385×240 pixels provides a sharp image. Its resistance to adverse weather conditions such as fog, rain, snow, or large temperature variations from -45°C to +55°C does not affect the performance of the device, thus meeting the elevated STANAG / MIL-SPEC requirements.
The PFN has two viewing modes: handheld or clip-on.
The clip-on mode and the helmet-mounted mode are identical. The image is reduced to show a 1x display. When the RH25 is set to handheld mode, the image is magnified by 1.3 times. In the 1.3x image display, the image area is round. The screen also features an inclinometer and a digital compass.
Especially for police use, the app offers simple remote control and recording function.
The height with Picatinny rail is 46.5mm, optionally 39mm with the optional "double Picatinny mount."
The PFN is delivered without an integrated reticle. Upon request, the reticle can be programmed for government customers. HERE is the direct link to the PFN section at IEA Mil-Optics.
