The Pulsar Lexion 2 thermal imaging device offers exceptional precision and clarity in object imaging under poor weather conditions. With a NETD of
Thermal imaging devices are great, everything else is an understatement. The Lexion 2 by Pulsar is a thermal imaging device and it has now become even better. Thanks to its NETD <40 mK thermal sensor, it provides precise detail definition of object imaging under poor weather conditions such as rain or fog.
The patented feature by Pulsar refines the sharpness of contours of warm objects and their detailed imaging through a specially developed algorithm. This ensures pure image clarity and sharpness and precise identification of objects.
The Lexion 2 operates on the autonomous B-Pack power supply system. The quickly replaceable IPS7 (6.4 Ah) power unit ensures 7 hours of operation in maximum active mode, more powerful IPS14 (12.8 Ah) battery packs can be optionally used.
Lexion thermal imaging devices have a micro-USB interface that allows for input from external power supply units such as power banks. The power bank even supplies the device in extremely cold weather and protects it from rapid discharge.
The Lexion features an integrated stadiametric rangefinder, represented as a scale, that precisely measures and displays the distance to the observation object with the known size (person - 1.8 m) in advance.
The Lexion was designed to be easy to use. Based on user feedback, it has been further developed, resulting in the Lexion 2 having a user-friendly interface, clear information display, is navigable with icons, and is characterized by an alphanumeric status line at the top of the display. Internal menu elements are displayed on a high-contrast background so you can adjust your device without losing sight of the action through the lens.
With a high image refresh rate (50 Hz), the user gets a disturbance-free image even when the target object or user is in motion.
The iOS and Android compatible Stream Vision App always provides you with the latest firmware versions and the best functionality.
It all sounds very good, but unfortunately there is a catch: there is no sale to private end customers. The purchase of the Pulsar Lexion is reserved for authorities, security companies, businesses (for operational monitoring), as well as forestry and nature conservation authorities.
If you belong to the user group and are interested in the Pulsar Lexion 2, it can be purchased from IEA Mil-Optics for €2,600.
