IEA MIL-OPTICS: The Everyone's GPNVG

01/20/2024By Redaktion

IEA Mil-OPTICS has heard the wish of friends of panoramic night vision and now offers a CPNVG. CPNVG stands for Commercial Panoramic Night Vision Goggle and is essentially the civil version of the now legendary GPNVG that we all know from TIER 1 special units.

The CPNVG is a night vision goggle with a 97° field of view. This comes close to the natural human field of view of around 120°. Compared to conventional night vision goggles with a 40-50° field of view, the CPNVG reduces side head movement. The CPNVG is a non-governmental version, for purely civilian use. The CPNVG is equipped with common 18mm Small Anvis tubes.

As standard, it is offered with Photonis ECHO14+ Onyx (1800FOM-2200FOM), Photonis ECHO+ Onyx (2200FOM+), or with the Photonis 4G+ (2200FOM-2600FOM). In the commercial version, only Generation 2+ tubes are used, instead of the High Performance Gen 3 tubes used in the government version GPNVG from L3Harris. But there isn't much difference in normal use, we can tell you that much.

The CPNVG is available directly from IEA Mil-OPTICS for 17,500 EURO to 28,000 EURO with Photonis 4G+ tubes. So, for anyone who has always wanted to wear a small car in front of their face, now's your chance.
