IDET 2023: MVS and Mehler Engineered Defence combine their forces

The Mehler Vario System Group announced today that its two subsidiary companies, Mehler Vario System and Mehler Engineered Defence, will exhibit together at this year's International Fair of Defence and Security Technologies (IDET). The fair will take place from May 24 to 26 at the exhibition center in Brno, Czech Republic.

IDET is one of the most important fairs for defense and security technologies in Central Europe and is known for its strong international participation of exhibitors and industry professionals. Exhibitors from around 30 countries showcase their products to international military delegations and industry professionals from all over the world. The fair is accompanied by a diverse program where experts in defense technology discuss current topics. The fairs PYROS and ISET take place concurrently with the IDET fair under the common title "Integrated Rescue System Fairs."

Mehler Vario System - Europe's market leader in ballistics - will present a range of user-oriented developments in personal protection and ballistic protection systems at IDET. Expected products include ballistic helmets, soft and hard ballistics, under and over vests, and plate carriers. Among the key innovations is the Mehler FlexGuard, a lightweight soft ballistic specifically tailored to the female body, and the versatile and modular carrying system M.U.S.T., a quickly deployable and scalable solution for police and military units.

Mehler Engineered Defence - specialist in protection systems for vehicles, ships, aviation, and infrastructure - will present at the joint booth a wide range of ballistic personal protection shields developed and manufactured according to custom designs in various protection classes, including NIJ 0108.01, VPAM, TR, and other standards for protection against threats from long and short weapons.

The Mehler Vario System Group will be represented at booth 019 in Pavilion P.
