IDET 2023: The Excalibur Army Toyota

Toyota always works. This is the MR-2 'Viktor' air defense system from EXCALIBUR ARMY at IDET 2023 in Brno, Czech Republic. Let's take a walk around it together.

From the front, it looks almost like a nice, peaceful Toyota.

But a look over the roof already reveals an impressive sight. And two barrels ...

These belong to the modified 14.5x114mm ZPU-2 with both day and night optics mounted on a Toyota Land Cruiser 70 chassis.

The mounted gun in all its glory. Don't worry, you can surely attach seat belts to the seats too.

15 of these vehicles were purchased for Ukraine by (not only) Czechs under private initiative. Another 100 were paid for by the Netherlands.
